Hi,

Briefly, here’s what you do (click on any of the images to make bigger in a new window. PLEASE ALLOW POP UPS):

1. Download the plugin from this page here.

2. Extract the file and upload it to your plugins directory. (Unzip first to a local folder and then upload folder via FTP).

3. Activate the plugin.

4. Then go to START HERE in your Link Exchange Menu (bottom left of your WP Menu) (or you can follow the link that is prompted):

5. Register the plugin.

You should now see a link to this page:

That will stay there now, so you can always refer back to this page down the track

6. Still in ‘Start Here’ enable the various linking options you want to use.

7. If you enable the Content Generator Links (CGL) you can also add your own list of keywords and then schedule accordingly. I use the Google Keyword Tool to generate my lists from my target keyword and I normally post at 0 to 4, Monday to Saturday. This creates randomly, on average, 1 day out of 5 where a post will not be made and never on a Sunday. You choose your settings to suit.

You can change the category the posts go to (create Category first) and you can also change the ad code that gets displayed on the pages (or leave in place as a donation to the network {we thank you}). Save changes.

8. Then go to ‘Manage My Links’. Add the keywords and urls you want displayed on OTHER sites. Do NOT enter your keywords like keyword1,keyword2,keyword3. If you have 3 different keywords, use 3 different boxes. Use the arrows to spread the percentages around (or divide equally). Save changes.

9. Then go to ‘Manage Swap Links’. Choose auto approve if you want to and enable all links (again, if you want to). At the very least tick some to enable for today and tomorrow.

10. Then go to Appearance – Widgets and drag and drop your widget
into the sidebar of your blog. Adjust the settings. Save.

Expecting more? No, that’s about it. We’ll go through the finer
detail later, but these 10 steps will get you off and running.
